2. Purpose and acceptance
These terms of service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the Restorm application and its associated services (the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, creating an account, or subscribing, you acknowledge that you have read and unreservedly accepted these Terms.
3. Service editions
The Service is offered in three editions:
- Community โ free for individuals and teams of fewer than 10 people;
- Pro โ a paid subscription (per seat);
- Enterprise โ covered by a specific contract.
A per-seat license is personal and may not be shared simultaneously between multiple users, unless otherwise provided under the Enterprise offer.
Eligibility for the Community edition. By using the Community edition, you represent that you meet its conditions: use as an individual, or within a team of fewer than 10 people. Any use within an organization of 10 or more people, or otherwise beyond the scope of the Community edition, requires a paid plan (Pro or Enterprise). Using the Community edition outside these conditions is a breach of these Terms.
4. User accounts
You are responsible for the information associated with your account, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for any activity carried out from it.
5. Data and privacy โ local-first operation
Unless stated otherwise, the data Restorm handles โ requests, collections, environment variables, scenarios, response history โ stays stored locally on your device. Unless you explicitly enable a feature that requires it, the publisher has no access to this data. Certain account or paid features may rely on third-party services, whose data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Artificial intelligence
Certain features enable interaction with artificial intelligence models, local or provided by third parties. When you configure a third-party provider, the data you send to that provider is subject to that provider's own terms and processing. Responses produced by artificial intelligence models are generated automatically and may be inaccurate; you remain responsible for verifying and using them appropriately.
7. Third-party services and APIs
Restorm is a client that lets you query services and APIs of your choosing. The publisher is not responsible for the availability, content, operation, or terms of any third-party services you choose to connect to (your own or third parties' APIs, AI providers, MCP-compatible servers, etc.). The publisher does not guarantee permanent compatibility with third-party APIs, protocols, or services, which may evolve independently of Restorm.
8. Commercial terms and subscriptions
- Term: subscriptions are taken out monthly or annually, depending on the plan chosen.
- Renewal: they renew automatically at term, unless cancelled beforehand.
- Cancellation: you may cancel at any time; the subscription ends at the close of the current billing period.
- Price changes: the publisher may change prices; any change affecting an active subscription is communicated in advance and takes effect at the next renewal.
- Suspension: the publisher may suspend access in cases of fraud, non-payment, or breach of these Terms.
9. Pricing and payment
Prices are listed on the Pricing page, in euros or US dollars depending on your region, excluding tax. Applicable tax is calculated at checkout based on your situation. Payments are processed by our reseller (Merchant of Record) Paddle, which acts as the seller of record for the transaction, issues the invoice, and collects applicable taxes.
10. Right of withdrawal
Where you act as a consumer under applicable law, you benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal. The terms, along with our "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" commercial guarantee, are detailed in the Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
11. License to use
Subject to compliance with these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service, for as long as you use it. As such:
- the software is licensed, not sold;
- any resale or redistribution is prohibited;
- reverse engineering is prohibited, except where expressly permitted by law.
12. Intellectual property
The Restorm software, its brand, its visual identity, its documentation, and all elements that make it up are protected under intellectual property law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
13. Open source components
The Service incorporates open source components subject to their respective licenses. Those licenses remain applicable to the components concerned, and nothing in these Terms supersedes them.
14. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- carry out illegal activities or infringe the rights of third parties;
- test or probe systems without the authorization of their owner;
- circumvent the Service's security measures or technical limitations.
15. Updates
The publisher may release, evolve, modify, or withdraw certain features. Some updates may be necessary to maintain the Service's security or compatibility.
16. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is." The publisher does not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or available without interruption. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages, or loss of data or business, arising from use of the Service. You remain solely responsible for the requests you execute, the data you send to the APIs you query, and compliance with applicable laws. Nothing herein limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
17. Effects of termination
Cancelling your subscription ends access to features that require an active subscription. It does not affect data stored locally on your device.
18. Enterprise customers
Enterprise customers may benefit from specific contractual terms which, in the event of a conflict, take precedence over these Terms.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Bordeaux, subject to the mandatory provisions protecting you where you act as a consumer under applicable law.
20. Changes
The publisher may amend these Terms. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of your use or subscription. Changes take effect upon publication, unless otherwise stated.
21. Language
Where these Terms are translated, the French version prevails.
