Clients

The Clients section gives you ready-to-use requests to call the mock you’ve just started. It’s the shortest test loop: you serve the design, you open a client, you run it.

The Clients section: generated requests, one per served protocol, calling the running mock

When the server is running, Restorm automatically generates a set of clients per served protocol, from the metadata exposed by the server. Each request targets directly a route you’ve defined — open it and send it to test it.

If the server is stopped, the section simply invites you to start it: “Start the server to generate the clients.” A Regenerate the clients action lets you rebuild them on the fly.

These clients are transient: they live only in memory, are never written to the .restorm file, and disappear as soon as the server stops. They’re for exercising your design, not for building a durable request library — for that, create ordinary requests in your project.
